[After this thread, Kurt just couldn't take it anymore. Ugh, Rachel and her conceited, bossy, ego-centric, badly dressed self. Why did he have to be stuck here with her of all people? Well, Ms. Pillsbury was there too, but among his peers, he was stuck with Rachel. Where were Mercedes, and Finn, and Tina, and, well, anyone else except Puck? She had taken over the glee club enough times at McKinley though - just the thought of sitting by and letting her force her way into the leadership role made him cringe.

Apparently she had been thinking something similar, because when he entered the hall to go speak to her, she was there already, just two doors down. They stared at each other, for a second or so. Then, they knew there was only one way to settle this. An impromptu diva off, right here, right now. Rachel's big broadway voice has already been heard over the network, but this is the first time Kurt has sung for everyone. Kurt's voice is very high, and feminine. He could easily be mistaken for a woman if there wasn't video to go along with it.

Oddly enough though, even though they're about to sing out how much they hate each other, their voices actually harmonize nicely. Neither of them seem to notice they're being recorded.]

You should join ours. We need to practice while we're here, because when we go home we'll have our Regional competition, and we don't want to get rusty just because we're being held prisoner against our will.

...No, no. That just isn't possible. There's no way we're talking about the same thing. That would just be freakish and disturbing, and it might possibly ruin my childhood.

Don't worry about that. We can't very well be a glee club if it's only me and Rachel. We'd probably wind up killing each other before it even started. But maybe seeing it first might help you get a better idea of what it's like. We can always use instruments though, whether you join or not. Finn played drums, and Artie was a guitarist with jazz band connections...

He's the King! And Queen Minnie is the Queen. Lady Daisy is Queen Minnie's best friend. My friend Goofy is Captain of the Guard, and Donald is the Royal Magician. And Chip and Dale work in the Gummi Hangar.

I never took any lessons, and I can't read music. I just... learned how to play! Sort of. It's weird. But I'd like to check it out!

...Mickey Mouse is a cartoon character. So are Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, Donald, and Chip and Dale. I don't think I've seen any shorts where they're royalty either.

No, they're real. I met Goofy and Donald a while ago, and they introduced me to the King and Queen and Lady Daisy.

I watched them on my TV, back when Disney Channel was actually sort of good. And we used to have VHS tapes. They were definitely cartoons.

Our school never had uniforms, so no. We'll have costumes though, for when we perform.

They're not cartoons, they're real. Donald and Goofy are two of my best friends.

That's why I said it's not possible. We can't be talking about the same thing...mouse, whatever. The Mickey I know is only ink and paper, computer graphics, or a frightening person in a filthy foam suit.
